Exceptional outcomes and progression – Summer 2024
KS5 2023/24
- 100% of students have secured progression routes
- Highest number ever to go to university – over 325 students (83% of cohort) with 81% taking up preferred places
- Expected 25% at elite world-class high tariff Russell Group universities
- 29 students have achieved straight A*/A grades with 55 students gaining AAB or above; in facilitating subjects, 13% (42 students) achieved AAB or higher in at least two
- 12 students have achieved straight Distinction*/Distinction for BTEC
- Seven students have taken up their places at Medical and Dental School (Bristol, Southampton, Kent, Newcastle, Kings College, UCL and Queen Mary).
- Degree apprenticeships: 13 students have secured higher/degree apprenticeships with the likes of PWC, Vodafone, KPMG and Deloitte
- A Level: A*-A: 19% A*-B: 43% A*-C: 70% A*-E: 96% with an average point score of 32.05
- Vocational: D*-D: 30% D*-M: 75% D*-P: 95% with an average point score of 28.76
KS4 2023/24
Outcomes & Progress Summer 2024
- 82% of students have achieved at least a 4+ in English and Maths
- 26% of students have achieved a 7 to 9 in both English and Maths GCSE
- 86% of our year 11s are expected to continue their studies at the Beal Sixth Form across the two campuses
- 100% are expected to have secured progression routes into post 16 study
